Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Can non-members use the club?

A: Yes, as long as they are guests of members and in their company, they are welcome to use all facilities.

Q: If members bring guests, is there a charge?

A: There is currently no charge even though the bylaws provide for one. Any donation will be gratefully accepted, however.

Q: Can I shoot trap other than Tuesday night?

A: Yes. Using your own portable trap launcher or the club’s launcher stored in the white shed. You must supply your own clays. Please use the area reserved for trap shooting down by the trap house.

Q: Can the club be rented for our gun sporting event? If so, what is the cost?

A: Please contact an officer of the Club if interested in having an event at the range.

Q: As a member, can I use the club at any time?

A: Yes, but shooting is restricted to 9am to sundown Monday through Saturday, and from 11am to sundown on Sundays.

Q: Are there targets in the clubhouse?

A: No. There are some targets in the white shed next to the clubhouse and cardboard backers that can be used. Most people bring their own targets and use backers available at the club. Staple guns are available for attaching backers to target frame.

Q: Should any target be attached directly to the wooden target frame without using a backer?

A: No. We discourage this practice and any action that intentionally shoots up the wooden target frames. Some shots do go astray and damage the wood, but we hope this is not done intentionally.

Q: What type of targets should be used?

A: Preferably paper. No matter what you use for targets, please clean up the range when done shooting.

Q: What is the combination of the gate and/or clubhouse lock(s)?

A: The combination is only given out to members, if you have forgotten the combination please email to request it via the contact page.

Q: What happens if someone in my group fails to pack out their targets, brass or trash?

A: Due to advances in DNA forensic testing, these individuals will be identified and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law of the Club.
